We provide year-round support to charities within our branch and company. A charity is featured for a limited time, and we host fund-raising or supply collection in our branches and administrative offices. The charity also receives brand awareness through in-branch, website and social network promotion as well as PR efforts. You can learn more about our current featured charity below.
Our Featured Charity
Granted
Granted is a community-based nonprofit located in Evansville, Indiana. Two local residents, Carl Wallace and Carolyn Pfaffmann, founded the organization with a mission to grant once-in-a-lifetime wishes for local children who have been diagnosed with life-threatening or terminal conditions. Serving a population of over one million people, Granted works to make wishes come true for children residing in the areas of Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky. Banterra was honored to donate $50,000 to Granted’s “House of Hope” initiative to secure naming rights for the Children’s Grassy Play Area, in addition to raising funds for Granted through the sale of solar eclipse glasses which raised more than $25,000 for charity. In addition to charities, Banterra supports universities, colleges and schools K-12 grades; civic organizations such as chambers of commerce and Rotary Clubs, food banks and pantries, as well as area hospital foundations. Below is a small sampling of the charities that Banterra supports annually:
Youth First transforms lives and improves communities by strengthening youth and families, preventing substance abuse, promoting healthy behaviors, and working with schools to maximize student success. Generous donations from Banterra have helped make our organization possible.
Banterra is a true community partner to the areas where their customers and team members reside, and we appreciate their ongoing support.
Family Service Society (FSS) has been serving as a crisis resource to the Paducah/McCracken County community since 1927. It is because of supporters like Banterra Bank that we have been able to continue this mission for over 90 years. It most certainly takes a village, and we’re honored to have Banterra Bank in our village!
The Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri maximizes resources to develop and deliver a wide range of services that improve the lives of individuals, children, and families to build strong neighborhoods. We recently partnered with Banterra to finance low income housing for our program. The personal service we received was unlike any other bank we have experienced. They are great to work with and their financing options cover a wide-array of needs.
We value our partnership with Banterra Bank, not only with the banking service that they provide to us, but with their generous support and promotion of the work that we do. They have helped raise awareness of This Able Veteran and the veteran community that we serve. To show our appreciation, we placed a Banterra patch on the vest of our service dogs that graduated in 2018.
Marshall Browning Hospital has a very good banking relationship with Banterra. They are always receptive to listening to our requests and they have been helpful in our financial improvement of the hospital. Banterra understands how important the hospital is to the Du Quoin community.
